Sagar Academy NEET Repeaters Section, a part of Sagar International
School, operating in Perundurai, Erode district, has been functioning for the sixth year after its inception.
This year, 106 students studied in the NEET section. In this, V. Nadeesh secured the first position by scoring 591 marks. Out of the students who wrote the NEET examination, 44 who scored more than 500 marks got places in government medical colleges.
All those who wrote the examination were successful. The correspondent of the school, Soundirarasan, congratulated the students who qualified for admission in the government medical college.
“In the last five years, we have produced more than 230 medical students.
This year, students who scored more than 550 marks were given a scholarship of Rs. 1.6 lakh and 500 marks were given Rs. 1.2 lakh,” he said.
Sagar Foundation President S. Aarumugam, Treasurer S.K. Palanisamy, Joint Secretary K. Swaminathan and the school’s Principal Sheeja, Director of Education Isaac Prabhukumar, and teachers praised the students.
