The Thirukud Nanneerattu Peruvizha, marking the kumbabhishekam of Arulmigu Swaminatha Swamy Temple at Kannampalayam in Coimbatore, will be held on September 13.
The festival is being organised by the RVS Educational, Medical, Agricultural and Cultural Trust. A press conference regarding the celebrations was held at the RVS College campus in Sulur.
Kamatchipuri Adheenam Sivalingeswara Swamigal and K. V. Kuppusamy, Chairman of the RVS Educational, Medical, Agricultural and Cultural Trust, addressed the media.
The yagasala rituals will begin on September 10 at 5 p.m. with Vinayagar worship, Navagraha Yagam, Mahalakshmi Puja and Vastu Shanti.
The second, third, fourth and fifth Kala Yaga Pujas and the Marundhu Saathuthal ceremony will be conducted on September 11 and 12.
The main Thirukud Nanneerattu Peruvizha will be held on September 13 from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. during the auspicious muhurtham. Special annadanam will be provided to devotees from 11.30 a.m. onwards.
The organisers have invited devotees and spiritual followers to participate in the celebrations in large numbers and seek the blessings of Swaminatha Swamy.
