A video showing an Indian tourist being stopped by Taliban security personnel in Afghanistan has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread attention for its unexpected twist.
The video captures the traveler riding a motorcycle through Afghanistan when he is halted by Taliban guards at a security checkpoint. One of the soldiers, holding a gun, asks for his passport and ID.
However, as soon as the traveler reveals he is from India, the soldiers break into smiles. They warmly greet him, skip the document check, and even invite him for tea.
“This is how Afghanistan treats its true friends,” reads the caption of the viral video, which has been widely shared across multiple platforms, highlighting the goodwill shown toward Indian visitors by Taliban personnel.
