The Tamil Nadu Arts, Music and Drama Academy, Chennai, in collaboration with the Erode Law College and the Tamil Nadu Government, organized the first-ever Tamil Music Festival as part of its program to encourage young artists.
Kumari Kanyakumari V., a Plus One student from PM Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sulur, Coimbatore, performed Tamil musical compositions.
She was accompanied by Chennai-based violinist C.K. Vijayaraghavan and Chennai-based mridangam artist Karthikeyan. Law College Vice-President Gayathri Ravichandran, Joint Secretary Arun Balaji, Gopi Srisaisindhu, Saroo Roopa Kishore, Joint Secretary of the Nursing College, and Kavithalayam Ramalingam participated and presented awards to the artists.
