Tamil Nadu athletes to receive Rs. 30 lakh each for Asian Games medals

Chief Minister Vijay has announced a cash incentive of Rs. 30 lakh each for three Tamil Nadu athletes who won bronze medals in relay events at the 20th Asian Games being held in Japan. In a statement, Chief Minister Vijay congratulated the Indian team that won the bronze medal in the men’s 4x400m relay event and Tamil Nadu athletes Vishal and Rajesh, who were members of the team. Appreciating their achievement, he said the Tamil Nadu Government would provide a cash incentive of Rs. 30 lakh each to Vishal and Rajesh. He said their perseverance, dedication and team coordination would inspire the younger generation pursuing sporting excellence.
Chief Minister Vijay also congratulated athlete Abinaya Rajarajan, who was part of the Indian team that won the bronze medal in the mixed 4x100m relay event. He announced a cash incentive of Rs. 30 lakh for Abinaya Rajarajan in recognition of her achievement. He said her performance had brought pride to Tamil Nadu and India and wished her continued success on the international stage.
