Technology-Driven Limb Camp To Aid Differently-Abled In Coimbatore

National Award-winning social organisation Narayan Seva Sansthan will organise a free corrective surgery screening, selection and measurement camp for Japanese-German technology-based 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs in Coimbatore on May 24.
Addressing reporters at Rajasthani Hall in R.S. Puram, camp coordinator Achal Singh Bhati and social worker Santosh Mundra said this was the second consecutive year the camp was being conducted in the city following the strong response received earlier. More than 650 differently-abled persons had benefited in the previous camp.
The camp will be held at Maheshwari Bhavan, KNG Pudur Pirivu, Somayampalayam, on Thadagam Main Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Digital measurements for lightweight 3D printed artificial limbs will be taken by expert Orthotists and Prosthetists.
Beneficiaries requiring corrective surgeries will also be selected for free treatment at the institution’s hospital in Udaipur. Free food and refreshments will be provided for participants and attendants.
