A vibrant celebration of colour, creativity and conscious fashion lit up the city this afternoon as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM) hosted Texcitement ’25, its signature sustainable fashion showcase, as part of the 18th Infinity Edition of Coimbatore Vizha.
The runway featured striking garments made from organic, upcycled and repurposed materials, crafted by children, youth and fashion enthusiasts under the theme “Sustainability in Style.” Chief Guest Mrs. Shanmugapriya, Proprietor of Aphrodite’s Drape, along with jury members Mrs. Heena Kotecha and Dr. R. Sangeetha, lauded the institute’s efforts in promoting ethical fashion.
Backed by Golden Sponsors Pallava Group and Mahasakthi Group, the event drew designers, boutique owners, fashion entrepreneurs and students. A special student presentation and an energetic prize distribution added flair to the evening.
Texcitement ’25 stood out as a key highlight of Coimbatore Vizha, reinforcing SVPISTM’s push to position the city as a centre for textile innovation and sustainable fashion.
