Actor Sivakumar made an emotional revelation about his long association with late veteran producer A.V.M. Saravanan. He said that his original name was Palanisamy and it was A.V.M. Saravanan who gave him the screen name “Sivakumar” when he entered the film industry.
Recalling this with gratitude, Sivakumar said that as a mark of respect and affection, he named his son Suriya as “Saravanan”.
“That is the reason I named him Saravanan,” he said, expressing his deep emotional bond with the late producer.Veteran producer A.V.M. Saravanan passed away on Thursday due to age-related illness at the age of 86.
His mortal remains were kept at the A.V.M. Studios in Vadapalani for public homage.Actors Sivakumar and Suriya paid tearful tributes at the studio earlier today.
Several film celebrities, public figures and fans gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects.
