The One marks new leadership for Rotaract Club of LIA

The Rotaract Club of LIA (Lead India Ahead), sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity, celebrated its 13th Installation Ceremony, titled “The ONE,” at Texcity Hall in Coimbatore, ushering in a new Rotary year with more than 100 Rotaractors, over 10 Rotarians, alumni, family members and well-wishers in attendance.
Rtr. Hariharan B assumed office as the 13th President of the Rotaract Club of LIA for the Rotary Year 2026–27, succeeding Immediate Past President Rtr. Harsith. The outgoing president was honoured for his dedicated leadership and contributions to the club.
The installation ceremony was presided over by Rtn. M.D. Mohamed Shafi, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity, who served as the Chief Guest and officially installed the new Board of Directors. The function was attended by Rtr. MPHF. Vijay Vignesh, District Rotaract Representative; Rtn. Dr. Mohamed Irfan Z, Youth Service Chair of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity; Rtn. B. Vanthiya Thevan, President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Royals; and Rtn. PHF. Sanjay, District Rotaract Representative-Elect. District Governor Rtn. M.D. R. S. Maruti and District Rotaract Chair Rtn. PHF. Senthil Kumar, who could not attend the event, conveyed their greetings over the phone.
Marking the club’s 13th installation, President Rtr. Hariharan B donated USD 13 to The Rotary Foundation (TRF). The club also donated ceiling fans to the Deaf Leaders Foundation and contributed ₹10,000 towards the vocational therapy of a student from DADDS School, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare and inclusive development.
The newly installed Board of Directors comprises Rtr. Manisha Shree (Secretary – Administration), Rtr. Tamilselvan (Secretary – Communication), Rtr. Sujay Krishna (Vice President), Rtr. Past President Antony Revanth (Club Advisor), Rtr. Yamuna (Treasurer), Rtr. Nagaraj (Joint Secretary), Rtr. Prajwel (Community Service Director), Rtr. Palak (International Service Director) and Rtr. Shanthosh (Professional Service Director), along with Avenue Directors and coordinators for Editorial, Media, Membership, Blood Donor Cell, Young Leaders and Women Empowerment.
The programme concluded with felicitations from Rotarians, Rotaractors and guests, who expressed confidence in the new leadership team.
The club begins its new chapter with a renewed focus on leadership, fellowship and meaningful community service.
