An autism awareness programme titled “Navigating Autism Together” was organised at the IMA Hall in Coimbatore on Saturday by Third Eye – A Centre for Autism in association with the Go Blue initiative.
The event featured addresses by Padma Shri awardee G Bakthavathsalam and Anusha Ravi, who emphasised the importance of early diagnosis and inclusive education for children with autism.

Actor Archana Chandhoke and Amit Bhargav participated as special guests and shared perspectives on awareness, empathy and social inclusion.
An expert panel discussion moderated by Archana Chandhoke focused on autism awareness, early intervention and the need for strong support systems for children and families.

A talent show by children from the autism centre showcased their abilities, drawing appreciation from the audience. The programme also included a training session for parents and educators on identifying early signs of autism and creating inclusive environments.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony and interaction among participants, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in supporting individuals with autism.
