Madhya Pradesh police have arrested three persons, including two sisters, for allegedly luring young women with false job promises and forcing them into sex work.
The accused, identified as Amrin and Afrin from Abbas Nagar in Bhopal, and their associate Chandan Yadav, were arrested based on a complaint filed by two women aged 21 and 32 at Bagh Sewania police station.
Police said the sisters targeted economically vulnerable women, offering free accommodation, food and a monthly salary of Rs. 10,000. The victims were allegedly taken to parties and pubs, given alcohol and drugs, and coerced into prostitution. One woman alleged rape in Ahmedabad in December 2025, while another reported sexual assault by Chandan Yadav.
Three more suspects — Bilal, Sanu and Yasir — are absconding. Investigators suspect an interstate racket, with links to Gujarat and Mumbai. Further probe is in progress.
