Three Killed As Car Collides With Omni Bus

Three persons were killed and one seriously injured after a car collided with an oncoming omni bus near Hosur in Krishnagiri district on Wednesday morning.
The car, carrying four occupants, was travelling from Bengaluru towards Dharmapuri when the driver allegedly lost control on the highway, leading to a head-on collision with the bus.
In the impact, three passengers died on the spot, while the fourth sustained grievous injuries. Local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident. Preliminary inquiries indicate that the victims were returning from Bengaluru to their native place to cast their votes in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
