A rare twin wedding in Telangana’s Kamareddy district has captured widespread attention after twin brothers married twin sisters in a colourful ceremony attended by hundreds of guests.
Vijay and Vilay, twins from a village in Kamareddy district, were married to twin sisters Keerthana and Keerthi from a neighbouring village.
The families fixed the wedding date and distributed invitations to relatives and friends before conducting the ceremony with traditional rituals.
The reception was held two days ago, drawing a large gathering.
The twin couples, seated side by side on the wedding stage, wore identical traditional outfits, leaving guests both delighted and momentarily confused.
With strikingly similar features, the two brothers and the two sisters appeared almost indistinguishable during the rituals, prompting light-hearted moments among attendees. Guests said it was difficult at times to tell the siblings apart as the ceremonies progressed.
Family members described the occasion as a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, saying it was a special moment for both households. Photographs and videos from the twin wedding have since gone viral on social media, drawing admiration and curiosity from users across platforms.
