Justices N. Senthilkumar and G. Arulmurugan, who were serving as additional judges of the Madras High Court since 2023, have now been elevated as permanent judges. The appointments followed the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium and the subsequent approval of the President of India.
In a ceremony held at the High Court yesterday, Chief Justice M.M. Vastava administered the oath of office to both judges. With this, they officially assumed charge as permanent judges of the Madras High Court.
