Seven youths were injured after two-wheelers following actor Vijay’s vehicle collided with each other near Tiruchirappalli airport, causing a brief stir in the area.
According to sources, the accident occurred a short distance from the airport when a group of youths riding motorcycles attempted to follow Vijay’s convoy. In the process, the vehicles reportedly lost control and crashed into each other, leading to multiple riders falling on the road.
As many as seven youths sustained injuries in the mishap. Their condition is yet to be officially confirmed.
Despite the incident, Vijay’s vehicle continued its journey towards Tirunelveli as part of his ongoing political outreach.
The incident has once again raised concerns over fan frenzy and the risks associated with chasing vehicles of public figures.
