District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, IAS, personally inspected the Ungaludan Stalin camp held at Arasur Thanganayaki Amman Temple Hall in Sulur Block today and distributed welfare assistance to beneficiaries. He also issued an identity card to a differently-abled person. Senior officials, including Sub-Collectors, Block Development Officers, and representatives from various government departments, participated in the event.
Under the third phase of the Ungaludan Stalin project, a total of 70 camps were organized across Coimbatore district—from Corporation, Municipality, Town Panchayat, and Panchayat Union areas—between September 16 and October 14, 2025. The fourth phase of the camps will begin tomorrow (Oct. 15) and continue till November 12, covering 10 additional locations in the district.
So far, a total of 2,97,951 petitions have been received, including 1,48,074 petitions under the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme and 1,49,877 petitions seeking other government services. On the same day, 27,969 petitions were resolved on the spot, including those related to the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, Aadhaar card issuance, birth certificate, family card, property tax name transfer, and electricity service name change. The remaining petitions will be processed within 45 days of receipt.
As part of the upcoming phase, camps will be held tomorrow (Oct. 15) at the following six venues — Vigneshwara Wedding Hall, Kottur Road (Om Prakash), Pollachi Municipality; Lorry Owners Association Hall, Mettupalayam Road, Karamadai Municipality; Sri Thangavel Ayyan Wedding Hall, Kovilpalayam Road (Ward No. 3), Periyanaegam Town Panchayat; S.P. Wedding Hall, Kanchampatty, Pollachi South Block; Katheesa Hall, Vadukkankalipalayam, Sulur Block; and Krishna Wedding Hall, N.G.G.O. Colony, Kurudampalayam Urban Area.
