Unusual marriage stories often make headlines, and another such incident has emerged from Uttar Pradesh, where a young woman married an idol of Lord Krishna, claiming divine guidance for her decision.
Pinki (28), a resident of Uttar Pradesh, performed the marriage rituals in front of her relatives, declaring her devotion to Krishna as the reason for the unusual ceremony. She said that during a recent visit to a Krishna temple, a gold ring slipped and fell onto the idol’s hand, which she interpreted as a sign.
She also stated that she recovered from a fever after praying to Lord Krishna, which further strengthened her belief that she was destined to marry the deity.
Family members and relatives witnessed the ceremony, which has attracted attention on social media and in the local community.
Pinki said she considers the marriage a spiritual union and not a legal or traditional wedding.
