V. Rangaswamy elected 30th President of Codissia

VRangaswamy was unanimously elected as the 30th President of the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) for the 2026-2028 term at the organisation’s 57th Annual General Meeting held at the D Seminar Hall of the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore on Friday.

B. Vijay Anand was elected as Honorary Secretary, while the new team of office-bearers and Executive Committee members for the 2026-2028 term was also unanimously elected by members of the association.

The newly elected leadership team comprises VRangaswamy of Rangavale Industries as President; P. Ponram of Unicon Engineers, R. Shasikumar of Metro Metal Finishers and M. Yuvaraj of Gajendra Agencies as Vice Presidents; B. Vijay Anand of Accura Automation (Eng) Pvt. Ltd. as Honorary Secretary; R. Soundararajan of Sree Ragunandana Industries as Honorary Joint Secretary; and N. Krishnaraj of Kovaii Fine Coat Pvt. Ltd. as Honorary Treasurer.

The association also elected K. K. Jayakumar of Sree Megala Gear Industries as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Taxation–Central), K. B. Jegadheesh Raaj of M J P Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Taxation–State), K. Nandagopal of Jeyaletshmi Machine Works as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Infrastructure), N. Srihari of Sri Sarathi Enterprises as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Environment and Labour Laws), N. Srinivasan of Bright Burnishing Tools Pvt. Ltd. as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Banking and Financial Institutions), G. Suresh Kumar of Suriya Equipments as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Seminar and Technical Meeting), U. J. Sree Vardhan of B. J. Electronics Pvt. Ltd. as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Raw Materials), and R. Sivakumar of Ganapathy Pumps as Honorary Assistant Joint Secretary (Entrepreneurship Development).

Various resolutions concerning issues affecting industries and the MSME sector were passed during the meeting. The resolutions will be submitted to the concerned authorities of both the Central and State Governments for consideration.

The annual general meeting witnessed the participation of members who unanimously endorsed the new leadership team to guide CODISSIA’s activities and initiatives over the next two years.
