Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Thindal, Erode, organized Achievers’ Day & Placement Day event. It was graced by Mr. Hari Krishnan, Regional Head Campus Hiring, Hexaware Technologies, Coimbatore, as the Chief Guest.
Dr. R. Kumaravelan, CCO(A), VCET welcomed. Dr. M. Jayaraman, Principal, presented annual report.
The Presidential Address was delivered by S. D. Chandrasekar, Secretary and Correspondent, Velalar Educational Trust, along with M. Yuvaraja, and C. Balasubramaniam Trustees, who appreciated the students and faculty for their achievements.
A total of 153 students were honored as Proficiency Winners while 22 students received awards for Best Projects. The prestigious Overall Best Outgoing Student Award was conferred to Ms. Varshini S. V., Department of CSE.
More than 100 companies visited the campus and the placed students from the reputed organizations has received their job offer
letter.
