Veena artist’s wedding stage with musical theme draws attention

A wedding in Puducherry turned unique as a veena artist designed a stage adorned with musical instruments, leaving guests impressed.
Nivedita alias Lakshmiprabha, daughter of Venkata Narasimhan and Srimathi from Ezhil Nagar, Kamaraj Nagar, is a trained veena artist who began learning the instrument at the age of 12 and has performed at over 500 events. Currently pursuing her final year degree in music at Bharathiar University in Ariyankuppam, Nivedita married Vishal alias Gopalakrishnan from Nagercoil.
Fulfilling her wish, the wedding stage was creatively decorated with a variety of musical instruments including veena, nadaswaram, violin, mridangam, ghatam, tabla, harmonium, and guitars. The setup also incorporated banana leaves and saplings to promote awareness about nature. The elaborate stage arrangement was completed within four hours by a team of 10 people. The visually striking backdrop became a major attraction at the ceremony. Relatives and friends who attended the wedding expressed admiration for the concept, with many taking photographs and selfies in front of the music-themed stage.
