Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader Vijay will chair a crucial meeting with party functionaries in Chennai on April 16, amid intensified campaigning for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled on April 23.
The meeting is set to be held at a star hotel in Nungambakkam at 10 a.m., where over 500 party office-bearers, including General Secretary N Anand, state-level administrators, district secretaries and constituency in-charges, are expected to participate.
Party sources said Vijay is likely to issue key instructions and outline strategies to strengthen the party’s campaign efforts in the final phase before the polls.
Permission for the meeting has been sought from the police authorities.
