Film producer and public relations professional P.D. Selvakumar, who worked closely with actor Vijay for nearly 25 years, has joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). Selvakumar had served as Vijay’s public relations officer (PRO) since 2003 and was considered one of the actor’s trusted associates.
Selvakumar, who also leads the Kalappai People’s Movement, formally joined the DMK today.
Following his entry, several hundred members of his organisation and supporters also enrolled themselves in the party.
It is notable that P.D. Selvakumar produced Vijay’s 2015 film “Puli”, further establishing his long association with the
actor.
