Vijay’s public meeting to be postponed to December 18

The public meeting to be attended by Vijay in Erode has been postponed to December 18, said K.A. Sengottaiyan, chief coordinator of the TVK executive committee and Kongu regional organization secretary.
In this regard, he told reporters in Pavalathampalayam near Erode on Tuesday:
Among the 84 conditions given for the public meeting to be attended by TVK leader Vijay in Erode, there is a question as to what will be done in case of rain or hot sun.
So, with the aim of fulfilling them, we are going to ask the police department and the district collector to grant permission to hold the public meeting two days later on December 18 instead of December
16.
After the letters are submitted, permission will be obtained from the leadership to change the date.
We hope that they will grant permission after fulfilling their conditions. If permission is not granted, we will go to court.
We should ask the government about imposing conditions that the ruling party and the opposition party do not have.
They have asked for the name list, identity card, etc. of those coming. There is no such restriction in Puducherry.
The date has been changed because there is not enough time to fulfill the conditions. The public has been restricted to travel about 14 km to reach the campaign venue.
To a question about BJP state president Nainar Nagendran questioning Vijay about whether a person who cannot even become a councilor aspires to be the Chief Minister, he said Nainar Nagendran said it would be better if he joined the AIADMK.
He said that everything he speaks is for the AIADMK and not for the BJP. Earlier, K.A. Sengottaiyan inspected the location where the TVK public meeting will be held near the Vijayamangalam toll gate next to
Perundurai.
