Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, who has retired from T20 and Test cricket and is currently playing only ODI cricket, offered prayers at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
Speculation has been rife in recent months over whether Kohli would continue playing till the 2027 ODI World Cup. However, he silenced critics with a stunning performance in the recently concluded ODI series against South Africa, where he emerged as the Man of the Series after scoring two centuries and a half-century.
While the third ODI match was being played at Visakhapatnam, Kohli visited the famous temple and had darshan of Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His spiritual visit drew the attention of fans and devotees.
