A tea estate worker narrowly escaped after two wild elephants allegedly attempted to attack him at Kannimala Estate near Munnar in Kerala.
The incident occurred when the worker was standing in front of a house in the estate. Two wild elephants suddenly approached and attempted to attack him, prompting him to run for his life and enter the tea plantation.
He managed to escape the elephants and reach a safe place without being attacked. People in the area reportedly recorded the incident on their mobile phones and shared the video on social media.
Wild elephant movement has increased in Munnar and surrounding estate areas. The frequent entry of elephants into residential areas and tea plantations has caused concern among local residents and estate workers.
