Woman kills two sons, dies by suicide

A tragic incident unfolded in Warangal district of Telangana, where a woman allegedly killed her two young sons before dying by suicide, reportedly due to prolonged domestic harassment.
Police identified the deceased as Sravani, wife of Praveen, a native of Manickam Thanda. The couple had been living in Hyderabad for work along with their children.
Investigations revealed that Praveen had entered into a relationship with his relative Maheshwari and married her last year, leading to frequent disputes with Sravani after she came to know about it.
Police said Sravani was allegedly subjected to mental harassment, with Praveen reportedly showing her photos and videos of his second marriage, worsening her distress.
In a state of despair, Sravani brought her children back from their hostel and later sent a message to her brother indicating her intention to end her life along with them.
Her brother rushed to the house, and with the help of neighbours, broke open the locked door, only to find Sravani and her two sons dead.
Police have registered a case, sent the bodies for post-mortem and arrested Praveen. Further investigation is under way.
