On the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8, 2006), a nationwide women’s run is being organized. It is being organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and its two wings, the Sports Authority of India and My Bharat.
In Erode district, the event is scheduled to start at 09.30 am on 8.03.2026 at the District Sports Stadium, VOC Park.
The following events will be held:100 m, 200 m, 400 m. Age: Under 13 years, 13-18 years, and above 18 years. Medals and certificates will be awarded to the winners.
