On the occasion of World Ozone Day, awareness programmes were organised on Monday at the Government School in Pethanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore.
The events, jointly conducted by the District Climate Change Mission and the School Education Department, featured pledge-taking, tree planting, and an awareness rally.
Students and the public were sensitised on the importance of protecting the ozone layer and preserving the environment for future generations.
