A 27-year-old woman, Kajal Vikas Kakurdiya of Goregaon (Vangi), Khatav taluka, Satara district, Maharashtra, was admitted to the District Civil Hospital, Satara on Friday after experiencing breathing difficulty and labor pains. Medical examination revealed that she was carrying four babies.
Considering the seriousness of her condition, doctors performed an immediate caesarean section. The surgery was conducted by a team comprising obstetrician Dr. Sidhasiv Desai, Dr. Tushar Masram, and anesthesiologist Neelam Kadam, under the guidance of hospital dean Dr. Vinayak Kale.
The operation was successful, resulting in the safe birth of four babies – three girls and one boy. Doctors confirmed that both mother and children are in good health.
