Youth Congress staged a protest stir near Gandhi statue in Erode with a model coffin against the irregularities in the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list.
Youth Congress state president Surya Prakash led the protest and said: There are various irregularities in the special revision of the voter list.
That is why Congress is strongly opposing this. Congress will continue its legal struggle against this. Congress president Rahul Gandhi has already pointed out the irregularities in the voter list in the states of Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Bihar.
BJP is involved in the voter list revision effort with the help of the Election Commission. Prime Minister Modi should take responsibility for this and resign. BJP says that the Election Commission is an independent body. But the Election Commission is under BJP control. As per the Election Commission’s statement, Congress will file an affidavit against vote rigging.
