In a late-night incident in Pune, two youths who were accidentally locked out on their apartment balcony were rescued with the help of a Blinkit delivery worker.
According to media reports, the youths had stepped out onto the balcony to enjoy the night breeze.
When they attempted to return inside around 3 a.m., they discovered that the balcony door had locked from within.
Their parents were asleep inside the house, and the youths chose not to wake them.
Thinking quickly, they placed an order through the Blinkit online delivery app to ensure someone arrived at the house.
When the delivery agent reached the location, the youths explained their situation and informed him about the location of a spare key.
The delivery worker used the spare key to unlock the door and helped the youths safely enter the house, preventing a potentially dangerous situation.
A video of the incident, shared on social media by Mihir Gahukar, shows the youths calling out to the delivery agent from the balcony and thanking him for his timely help.
The video has since gone viral, drawing praise for the delivery agent’s presence of mind and kindness.
