Building on the momentum of nearly 15,000 participants in 2025, YUGAM 2026, the 14th edition of the annual techno-cultural fest of Kumaraguru Institutions, returns with expanded scale, stronger industry engagement, and pathbreaking digital innovation.
Recognised as one of South India’s most influential student-driven festivals, YUGAM continues its legacy of blending technology, culture, creativity, and social responsibility on a large, dynamic platform.
Workshops for YUGAM 2026 will commence from February 27, 2026, followed by the main festival days on March 5, 6, and 7, 2026, at the Kumaraguru campus in Coimbatore.
Dr V Vijilesh, Associate Dean, OSA, KCT, Prof. Sheela Srivastava from the Office of Student Affairs, KCLAS, and student representatives from the organizing team said the fest will build on last year’s 100+ events and Rs. 15 lakh prize pool. The YUGAM 2026 will feature:
Over 90 technical and non-technical events, More than 60 hands-on workshops. The festival is expected to draw students from hundreds of colleges across India, further strengthening Coimbatore’s reputation as a hub for youth innovation and collaboration.
In a landmark initiative, YUGAM 2026 becomes India’s first college festival to integrate a dedicated WhatsApp bot for registrations and ticket bookings. This seamless system enables participants to register for events, workshops, and ProShows efficiently, enhancing accessibility and user convenience.
