A medical camp and blood donation camp were organised at the premises of the 105 Battalion of the Rapid Action Force in Coimbatore on March 7 to mark the 87th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Muthu’s Hospital and the Indian Red Cross Society.
Officers and personnel of the battalion participated enthusiastically in the initiative.
A total of 61 personnel voluntarily donated blood, reflecting their commitment not only to national security but also to humanitarian service and public welfare.

The blood donation drive was organised to support local medical institutions and help meet the lifesaving needs of patients in hospitals.
As part of the programme, a comprehensive medical camp was conducted by doctors and medical staff from Dr. Muthu’s Hospital. General health check-ups, consultations and basic diagnostic screenings were carried out for personnel and their family members.
The camp aimed to promote health awareness, encourage preventive healthcare and facilitate early detection of medical issues among the troops and their families.
Many personnel and their family members benefited from the medical advice and consultations provided by the visiting doctors.

The initiative also strengthened cooperation between the security forces and civil medical institutions, reflecting a shared commitment to community welfare.
Officials said the programme highlighted the humanitarian values of the Central Reserve Police Force and its dedication to serving society beyond its operational duties.
The event was organised successfully with the active participation and coordination of all ranks of the 105 Battalion Rapid Action Force.
