Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has posed a series of questions to the BJP, challenging its leaders on key issues including the three-language policy and financial allocations to Tamil Nadu.
In a post on social media platform X, Stalin asked whether Union Ministers and BJP Chief Ministers visiting Tamil Nadu were prepared to openly campaign in favour of implementing the three-language policy in the State.
He also questioned the Centre on the quantum of funds allocated to Tamil Nadu compared to BJP-ruled States, and whether such details would be transparently disclosed.
Raising another issue, Stalin asked if the Centre would withdraw the proposed amendment affecting Christian charitable institutions or proceed with it.
He further took a swipe at AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami, asking whether he could secure answers from the BJP leadership in Delhi on these matters.
Stalin also urged the BJP to focus on addressing people’s livelihood concerns instead of engaging in what he termed as “baseless allegations.”
Asserting the State’s stance, Stalin said Tamil Nadu would not yield to external pressures and would continue to stand firm on its rights.
