Ramraj Cotton successfully organised the Ramraj White Warriors Marathon 2026 in Tirupur on Sunday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 employees and their family members across various age groups.
The marathon, held exclusively for Ramraj Cotton employees and their families, was organised as part of the company’s sustained focus on promoting physical fitness, employee well-being and stronger family bonding. The event was flagged off by the chief guest, Thaiyal Nayakee S., Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nallur Range, Tirupur.
The race began at Chikkanna Government Arts College on Vanjipalayam Road and saw spirited participation from men, women and children. Participants competed in three categories — 5 km for those aged 8 to 17 years, 8 km for the 18 to 44 age group, and 8 km for participants aged 45 years and above — ensuring inclusivity across generations.
Speaking on the occasion, K R Nagarajan, Founder and Chairman of Ramraj Cotton, said the White Warriors Marathon was not merely a race but a celebration of discipline, health and shared values. He emphasised that the well-being of employees and their families remained a core priority for the organisation and that such initiatives helped strengthen family bonds while encouraging healthier lifestyles.
Across all categories, first, second and third prizes were awarded separately to men, women, boys and girls. All participants who completed the race were honoured with medals, digital participation certificates and saplings, reinforcing the message of health, sustainability and collective responsibility.
