Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president Vijay is set to visit Thanjavur district in the second week of March to address a public meeting, party sources said.
Vijay had earlier launched a series of public outreach meetings beginning in Tiruchi, followed by events in districts including Ariyalur, Kancheepuram and Nagapattinam.
The campaign briefly paused after the Karur episode, but later resumed with a public meeting in Erode and an interaction with party functionaries in Vellore.
In continuation of this statewide outreach, the party is now planning meetings in additional districts. As part of the next phase, Thanjavur has been finalised for either a public rally or an executive meeting.
Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam functionaries have begun groundwork to identify a suitable venue. Once the location is finalised, formal permission will be sought from the police authorities to conduct the event.
