The Camford International School’s campus was a picture of color, creativity, and celebration as it hosted its 16th Founder’s Day event — Dynamix 2025 — on November 2, 2025. The day was not just a commemoration of the school’s remarkable journey since its inception, but also a reflection of its commitment to holistic education, where academic excellence meets artistic expression.
Distinguished Defence Scientist Dr. M. Manickavasagam, Director, SPIC and Programme Director, Strategic Systems, DRDO, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. A leader who has played an instrumental role in the nation’s strategic defence projects such as AGNI and AKASH, he brought with him a spirit of inspiration and national pride. The gathering also included Mr. N. Arul Ramesh, Chairman, Mrs. Poongothai Arul Ramesh, Correspondent, and Dr. Poonam Syal, Principal of the school.

In his address, Dr. Manickavasagam struck a chord with the young audience by sharing valuable lessons drawn from his own professional and personal journey. He reflected on how perseverance, humility, and a disciplined approach to life can help an individual rise above challenges and make meaningful contributions to society. Tracing his early years, he spoke of the limited choices students once had and how today generation is enjoys a world of opportunities.
He emphasized that students of the current era are privileged to learn in an environment that nurtures independent thinking and provides access to world-class facilities. Such exposure, he said, enables them to explore their interests early in life and choose career paths aligned with their strengths.
Focusing on the importance of discipline, he noted that it is a value that forms the backbone of every great endeavor. Discipline, according to him, is what transforms potential into performance.
Concluding his address, Dr. Manickavasagam urged parents and teachers to continue being guiding lights for the next generation. By being role models in conduct, compassion, and character, he said, they help children internalize values that last a lifetime. His address, rich with personal insights and life lessons, left the audience deeply inspired.

Adding to the sense of occasion, Chairman Mr. Arul Ramesh reflected on the school’s 16-year journey of growth and excellence. He emphasized that Dynamix each year reinforces the school’s vision that education is not just about lessons learned in the classroom but about how those lessons are applied to life. He highlighted the importance of integrity as a value that sustains every achievement, observing that true education lies as much in character as in intellect.
He urged students to remember that before striving for excellence, they must first build integrity — the foundation upon which all achievement stands. To keep one’s word, to remain true to one’s principles, and to trust oneself, he said, are qualities that earn the trust of the world.
The formal proceedings were followed by the felicitation of academic achievers who brought laurels to the school in 2024–25. Dr. Manickavasagam presented awards to the toppers of the AISSE (Grade 10) and AISSCE (Grade 12) CBSE Examinations, as well as students who achieved centum scores and winners of the Proficiency Awards 2024-2025.
Principal Dr. Poonam Syal presented the Annual Report for 2024–25, highlighting milestones in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.
The cultural segment that followed transformed the campus into a stage of vibrant performances. The school’s Rock Band opened with an electrifying medley of songs, followed by a captivating Kathak fusion dance that mesmerized the audience. A powerful “Roman Warriors” dance sequence, a soulful Indo-Western fusion, and the thought-provoking drama ‘The Sound of Truth’ showcased the students’ remarkable talent and teamwork.
