Vinayagar Chaturthi was celebrated at Sakthi Special School for the Mentally Challenged, Sakthi Autism Special School and Sakthi Rehabilitation Centre at Mamarathupalayam in Erode, run by the Sakthidevi Foundation, an initiative of Sakthi Masala. The celebrations were held under the guidance of Sakthidevi Foundation trustees Dr. P.C. Duraisamy and Dr. Shanthi Duraisamy. Students, parents, teachers and physiotherapy trainers participated in the event.Student A. Vishnudev rendered a sloka and offered prayers to Lord Vinayagar. Students S. Balasurya and S. Mahithraj subsequently presented devotional songs.
